Sept 4-6, 2008 Dinner Theater $15 per person. Dinner at 6 pm play at 7. Reservations suggested. Doors open at 5:30 pm for the 6 pm dinner and 7 pm curtain for the production of “Murder by Indecision” by Daniel O’Donnell. Seating is limited so reservations are strongly suggested. Sept 13, 2008 Indoor Garage Sale & Market Place 9 am to 4 pm Many vendors with a variety of items. Open 9 am til 4 pm at the Camden County Museum in Linn Creek. Admission free. Lunch available for donation. For information or booth availability call 573-346-7191.

Sept 21, 2008 Tea Dance 2-5 pm $6.00 per person Big Band style music played by the Lake Jazz Band provided for your listening and dancing pleasure at the Camden County Museum in Linn Creek from 2 pm til 5 pm. Refreshments provided. Admission $6.00 per person. The museum is an alcohol and tobacco free environment. For more information call 573-346-7191.

Sept 27, 2008 Town & Country Market 9am-4pm The last Country Market of the year. We have booth space available for anyone wishing to sell produce or Country Crafts. Call Yetta, 573-280-1958.

Oct 10 & 11, 2008 Fall Festival/Apple Butter Days
(Craft Booths, craft demonstrations. Quilt raffle, Chili supper)
Many crafters with a variety of items. Open 9 an til 5 pm both days at the Camden County Museum in Linn Creek. Craft demonstrations, quilt raffle, apple butter and apple pies available. Oct 13, 2008 Benefit Golf Tournament (tentative) Annual Benefit Golf Tournament at Lake Valley Country Club. Tee off at 1 pm following the noon lunch. For more information call Jan at 573-346-1806.

Nov 14-Dec 15, 2008 Festival of Trees & Wreaths (donated decorated trees & Wreaths on display throughout the museum for silent auction)

Nov 22, 2008 Gingerbread House/Building Contest & Christmas in the Kitchen Open 9 am to 4 pm, craft booths with kitchen related crafts and gifts. Contest contestants will assemble their Gingerbread Structures for the 4 pm judging. For more information or guidelines on the contest call the museum office (573-346-7191) or come by to pick up the information.

Dec 3, 2008 Christmas Craft Party & Cookie Swap 11 am to 3 pm Several tables with simple crafts for folks to assemble for

decorations or gifts. Bring several dozen of your special Christmas cookies (wrapped in one dozen packages) to swap for other flavors. All this for a donation of $5.00. A light lunch will be available. For more information call 573-346-7191.

Dec 5, 2008 Supper with Santa 6 to 8 pm. An old-fashioned evening with caroling around the piano, crafts for the kids to do and a visit from Santa Claus. Admission is a dish for the dinner and/or a gift for under the tree. The gifts will be donated to the Women’s Shelter in Camdenton. This is just a fun evening for the whole community.
