Creative Crafty Historical Specialties of the Museum The museum is a unique environment for all to enjoy. We try to have classes when there is enough interest. In the past we have taught: tatting, knitting, crocheting, hand quilting, basket weaving and rug weaving on the loom. We have some great displays of looms, spinning wheels, yarn winder, knitting sock machine, old sewing machines, irons & more.
For RUG WEAVING all you need is some spare time to learn and enjoy creating beautiful rugs. The loom is over 100 years old is very unique. Please call the museum 573-346-7191.
Joint the fun today. The “PATCHWORK PIONEERS” meet every Monday from 10am-2pm. Everyone is welcome whether you are an expert quilter or would like to learn. Bring your lunch or a snack and work with the quilting ladies. These quilts are made to raffle every October at the Apple Butter Festival. Call Ruth 573-346-5512 or call 573-346-7191.
